Our team
The SUN-IRG is led by Prof Gerhard Walzl, who is a leading TB clinical researcher, as well as Immunologist and Consulting Pulmonologist at Tygerberg Hospital. Our research team comprise highly competent personnel, supported by clinicians and clinical research workers. We also have a number of Post-Docs, PhD and Masters students.
