The DHPE seeks to engage in scholarship that can have both practical utility through providing insights that can strengthen educational practice, as well as theoretical value such that it can contribute to growing the body of knowledge in the field of health professions education. Much of our work falls within the broad ambit of curriculum renewal looking a various content related issues across a wide spectrum (from social justice, empathy, creativity to digital education and innovation). Other foci include teaching on the clinical platform and faculty development – often in support of ongoing curriculum renewal.?
