DELL YOUN?G LEADERS

Who qualifies?

The Dell Young Leaders programme is aimed at supporting first generation university graduates, who display financial need, resilience and leadership potential. To be invited to apply for the Dell Young Leaders programme you need to be a South African citizen (or permanent resident), and in your first year of study in a professional or in-demand degree focused on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects. You also need to be eligible for financial aid based on the NSFAS means test; we invite students in the lowest family income bracket to ensure we are supporting the most financially needy students.

How do I apply?

Each year qualifying first year financial aid students are invited to apply to the Dell Young Leaders programme. Invitations are sent via students' university email address during the first semester of their first year. Candidates who receive an invitation will then be asked to complete an online application and, for those who have been shortlisted, a short interview process that allows us to learn more about their university and career goals to determine if they are a fit for the programme.
