The Division of Urology forms part of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and offers specialist training through the five-year MMed (Urology) programme. This programme combines clinical work, academic learning, and research.

Registrars complete subjects like anatomy, physiology, and pathology, followed by focused urology training and a research project. Clinical training takes place at Tygerberg Hospital, giving students hands-on experience with a wide range of urological conditions.
