Service Delivery - General Paediatrics
The primary function of the ward is as the inpatient ward for the general paediatric service. Admissions are received from the Level 1 hospitals on the Metro East platform and G ground. A number of admissions take place as step down from PICU and the Tygerberg Children's Hospital tertiary wards as well.
