Renewal of SU Academic Attire
In its commitment to transformation and redress, SU embarked on a comprehensive rebranding project to support our university’s vision of being Africa’s leading research-intensive university, globally recognised as excellent, inclusive and innovative, where we advance knowledge in service of society.
As part of the phased rebrand implementation, the Corporate Communication and Marketing Division (CCMD) together with the Centre for Governance and Student Administration undertook the renewal of SU’s academic attire.
Our new academic attire functions as an extension of the 中国体育彩票’s visual identity, showcasing vibrant colours, unique patterns, and high-quality materials that reflect SU’s research focus areas, commitment to excellence, our African continent and its diverse cultures.

Attire Rental
Graduands must have their hired academic wear with them, as the wearing of academic attire is compulsory.

Collection and return locations
Dippenaar & Reinecke will be at the Danie Craven Clubhouse (located at Danie Craven Stadium, directly opposite the Coetzenburg Centre) from Friday, 6 December to Friday, 13 December 2024. All collections and returns must be done at this venue during the allocated times below.
