????????????????????The Faculty of Science has a strong ethos of research excellence and makes an important contribution to society through research outputs with impact. Currently 88% of our academic staff have PhDs and 52,2% of them have NRF ratings. We are home to 39% of the A-rated scientists at Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票, i.e. scientists regarded as world leaders in their fields.
Approximately 22% of our students are postgraduate students and in 2023 we conferred 47 PhDs. We strongly focus on the publication of the research outputs of staff, postdoctoral fellows and postgraduate students in international journals of high standing.
