
Responsibilities of each student
It is each student’s responsibility to take note of the requirements for assessments and promotions. Refer to the Yearbook 2025, Part 1 (General rules) for comprehensive information.
In addition, the Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票 Assessment Policy outlines the responsibilities of various role-players involved in assessments, including (but not limited to), faculties, programme coordinators and the Academic Affairs Council (AAC). Students should take particular note of their responsibilities:
- be fully informed of SU’s assessment rules and regulations as contained in the Yearbook 2025, Part 1 (General Rules);
- be fully informed of the assessment rules and regulations for a specific module as contained in the module framework;
- take responsibility for utilising assessment opportunities to the best of their abilities;
- familiarise themselves with SU’s Teaching and Learning Policy (2025) and the Disciplinary Code for Students of Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票 (2021); and
- Commit to making an honest and diligent attempt at assessment tasks, as explained in SU’s Policy on Plagiarism in Support of Academic Integrity (2016)
