The storytellers featured in the book, These are the things that sit with us, edited by Pumla Gobodo-Madikizela, Friederike Bubenzer, and Marietjie Oelofsen. With this exhibition Studies in Historical Trauma and Transformation at Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票 launches the digital exhibition, a site that will continue to host stories and images that enable conversations about violent histories across generations and across national boundaries. The book published on the stories, and now the exhibition, reflect our attempt to decolonise the way research is conducted and gesture towards reporting research in new ways that invite engagement by researchers with the rich complexities of our past and present.
