COVID-19 infections
The table below shows the number of Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票 (SU) staff members and students who, to the best of our knowledge, have tested positive for COVID-19 the past week. They are self-isolating or in quarantine, in line with SU protocols and government regulations.
PLEASE NOTE: This data is compiled from information collected by SU’s Campus Health Service (CHS) on all SU campuses, as well as information provided by local authorities (reflecting testing results from both state and private laboratories). However, it is not a comprehensive reflection of the COVID-19 status of all SU staff and students because we do not do any testing ourselves.?

Staff members or students who are concerned that they may be infected with COVID-19 should contact SU’s Campus Health Service (Stellenbosch 021 808 3496/3494; Tygerberg 021 938 9590; after-hours emergency number 076 431 0305). COVID-19 is a notifiable condition, which means it is mandatory to report a positive result (please use the same telephone numbers), making contact tracing possible, which prevents the disease from spreading.
To combat the pandemic, everyone is required to wear a mask, maintain a safe physical distance from others and sanitise their hands and surfaces. Anyone intending to come to campus must use Higher Health’s daily risk assessment app, HealthCheck (https://healthcheck.higherhealth.ac.za/), to self-screen beforehand.
