?Join us for an in-person panel discussion where we will be discussing the challenges faced by first-generation university students. We'll be focusing on creating a supporting environment, historical trauma and its impact, the role of the educator and support staff, taking ownership of the university environment and experience, and healing from historical trauma.
Panellists for the discussion are Dr Rose-Anne Reynolds, lecturer in Childhood Studies at the School of Education, 中国体育彩票 of Cape Town; Fatima Swartz, programme director at the Institute for Healing and Memory; Dr Wilhelm Verwoerd, senior researcher and facilitator at Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票's Centre for the Study of Afterlife of Violence and Reparative Quest (AVREQ); and Prince Qengqa, student wellness and leadership development officer, Student Representative Council, Stellenbosch 中国体育彩票.
