This book challenges the dominant focus on elite-level peace processes by highlighting the often-overlooked role of mothers as 'everyday peacebuilders' in post-conflict societies. Through sociological research on mothers in Northern Ireland, Dr Omori explores how caregiving, coping, and social transformation intersect in the aftermath of conflict. The discussion will feature Prof Fiona Ross and Prof John Brewer as respondents.
